Jordan Kurosagi.jpg

Character Name: Jordan Scathach Musashi O'Quinn-Kurosagi
State: Sleeved
Allegiance: House Silva

Gender: Female
Age: 26
Height: 175.5cm (5'9'')
Weight: 56kg (124 lbs)
Hair: Lustrous White
Eyes: Luminous Indigo
Skin: Radiant Amber

Appearance: Jordan has the gorgeous, ravishing good looks that only the best bioengineering the Silva biosleeve labs can produce. She has an idealized female figure, delicate but deliciously firm and deceptively strong, and sensually exaggerated: the legs longer, the waist smaller, the breasts fuller, the striking indigo eyes larger, the light amber skin flawlessly smooth. Despite dressing professionally when on the job, she can't seem to conceal her blatantly sexualized physique, her every movement graceful and enticing.

Her shimmering white hair falls in a smooth waterfall to the small of her back, and her manicured nails are chrome coloured, and despite her best intentions, she can't seem to make her smooth mezzo-soprano voice anything but sultry.

Background
Jordan Scathach Musashi O'Quinn-Kurosagi is a Protectorate Centurion Detective, a law officer working the Luna City of Rho. Formerly a Pure, if not a Purist - though her parents, Dalaigh O'Quinn and Sakura Kurosagi, are, historians and academics working at a one of the top Helios Colleges - Jordan hadn't sought Apotheosis and was satisfied with her natural sleeve. But she got tired of seeing peers and lessers promoted past her and getting the better assignments due to the unofficial preference for Centurion officers getting Apotheosized, so she accepted getting fitted with a Mindset and Mnemonic Core.

In the entertainment capital of the Sol System, it seemed every sleeve was more attractive than the last. Even the Justicar sleeve upgrade the Rho Centurions were provided with after a certain term of service had cosmetic upgrades, but Jordan was satisfied with her own despite often having to work harder and longer to advance.

During a take down of the High Class Brothel Pygmalion involved with illegal identity merging and forced decanting run by a Savant, Jordan's natural sleeve was killed.

Normally, decanting Jordan into a Gamma Class Rho Centurion Justicar Biosleeve, that she was entitled to through her contract and service record as a Centurion, wouldn't have been an issue... If not for two other events that had occurred around the same time.

A Purifier Cell had damaged the facility storing the Rho Centurion Class Biosleeves, destroying or damaging the class of sleeves Jordan was entitled to. Further, a Talons of Freedom strike team had attacked the House Silva/Luna Illuminated Biosleeve Factory, which manufactured the Centurion Sleeves.

There was a male sleeve of appropriate class and capability available, but Jordan's insurance dictated a sleeve of the same gender without prior approval, which the department hadn't gotten. In such cases, the Centurion Department had to provide her with a biosleeve of equal or greater classification that still met or exceeded Centurion Biosleeve standards.

Being Rho, most such Biosleeves were already spoken for. But there were three available that the Centurion Department had access to and wouldn't hit their Reputation standing much. Three unused biosleeves claimed in the bust where Jordan lost her life.

They exceeded Centurion physical mandates and were of a class suitable to the biggest sensie stars and other celebrities, and while they possessed sex and sensuality upgrades and ramped up libidos, it was determined that they didn't eliminate them from consideration.

So Jordan found herself decanted into a biosleeve of a quality she hadn't expected to be able to acquire anytime soon - if ever - nor wanted, a Delta-Class Venus Biosleeve of physical and sensual perfection. Now Stronger, Faster, and Tougher than most other Centurions, objectively more capable at her job now, Jordan still has to deal with a sleeve built for sex, making it harder to be taken seriously by her colleagues.

Due to the class of biosleeve provided, her insurance has increased and she has taken on part of the debt, meaning she can't request a new sleeve at the moment, let alone one of similar quality nor would the Centurion Department provide her a replacement anytime soon. Nor does she know what kind of biosleeve she'd want, besides a clone her original self.

But while a clone of her natural sleeve would be familiar, Jordan couldn't help but be aware it would be inferior in capability. Her upbringing is clashing with her new reality

So Jordan's doing what she can to continue working as a Centurion in Rho, while dealing with the quirks and eccentricities of her new sleeve and how others react to it.

Character Name: 'The Apostate'
State: Pure
Allegiance: Him and his daughter.

Gender: Male
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 212lbs
Hair: Black.
Eyes: Brown
Skin: Yes

Appearance: The Apostate is a man that appears to be in his late thirties, early forties who has dedicated his life to be prepared for war.  At six foot three inches he is broad shouldered and powerfully built.  His left arm is a nano-cyber arm, with the cohesion to his body consuming the entirety of his shoulder.  He does not bother to conceal it with false skin.  He lost it saving lives and wears in the open as a symbol of pride and duty.

Background

Jericho Wyze was a Marine his whole life.

Born in PS20 (making him 83 presently), he remembers a lot of a world that many do not. Born on Earth, he was there when the Federation unleashed the technophage upon the planet and as a Federation Marine, his heart sank in his chest as he saw his species, after thousands of years of intolerance, finally reach their absolute moral rock bottom.

He remembers the greens and blues of Earth's oceans and forests. He remembers the foods and the entertainment, but most of all he remembers people that, while bad at times, were still redeemable. People gave of themselves to help others. A dollar in a hat, a hot meal at a soup kitchen, and at every tragedy people would band together to help those affected, pulling people from the wreckage left behind from a tornado or rebuilding after a flood or tsunami. No matter how bad it became, humanity redeemed themselves as a species with simple acts of love and kindness.

Imagine a man who signed up to protect he people of the world and in the end he just sat by and watched them destroy everything around him. All everyone did was battle and fight in a bid for power and tech and after a time the fighting made no sense, the orders were empty and shallow and carried only the weight of greedy politicians wanting nothing more than pawns to fight and die for their own personal gain. Everyone had an agenda, and Jericho was just a cog in the machine, like everyone else.

During the wars (between the Alliance and Federation, and finally the technophage) Jericho grew to be a legend on the battlefield. Once he reached the rank of Gunnery Sergeant (E7) he submitted an officers packet and was accepted into Federation naval flight school (Marines don't fly, so he had to switch branches) where he accomplished the rank of Commander (O5). With a war going strong his promotions were rather swift (with ranking officers dying quite often), but Jericho sure as hell earned every one of them. Those under his command were some of the best trained and well educated the he could find and the men who women who served under him were known for being some a of the craziest or luckiest sons of bitches alive. They were credited with accomplishing the impossible on more than one occasion, which especially held true during the evacuation of Earth when Jericho risked court martial time and time again to see that men and women and their families were successfully evacuated. Some of Jericho Wyze's tactics and teachings are still taught to the Protectorate and Legions twenty-seven years later.

In the years that followed the Exodus, little is still on record as to what happened to Commander Wyze. Fed up with politics and mentally exhausted and emotionally stressed to his limit after battling for a year while the technophage literally obliterated nine billion innocent people. He disappeared one day, and no one has heard from his since. Some say he's still out there. Others believe he returned to Earth and is engaged in a never ending war with the technophage single handedly. Even others still believe he was assassinated for speaking out against the inception of the Coalition. Others claim the gods of war came and claimed one of their own back into the fold.

Truth is: the guy just left.

Jericho Wyze became an Apostate. Not because he agreed with the apostate way of life, or was against the Coalition (although he doesn't really think the Coalition is a great idea), he just wanted to get away from it all. Normally a man would buy a cabin in the woods, live off the land, do some fishing and soul searching. Unfortunately, he had no lake to fish at or a home to go home to, the Federation and Alliance had seen to that. So, he wandered space, roving from colony to colony, planet to planet going where the solar winds carried him.

Although he rarely speaks of her mother, his daughter Penelope was a blessing. She rekindled that portion of his soul that yearned for human contact and re-connected him to that something he was lacking in his life: love. Through Penelope he has found the opportunity to raise another human life and hopefully instill in her a proper sense of morality and duty that would inspire others, like he once did, to strive for a better tomorrow, together, free of oppression or genocide.

Currently he goes by the name 'The Apostate'. Mostly because he doesn't want people to know who he really is. Once people know you're some sort of a war hero, it's not long until they expect you to champion their causes and never shut up about all the ways their way is right and everyone else is wrong. Honestly, he doesn't care. People won't change, as much as he hopes they might one day, he knows for certain it won't be in his 325 years of life. Pure, sleeved, augmented, unaugmented, SIM, it doesn't matter to him who you are or how you live your life, as long as you're not telling him how to run his. He believed in that system once, where men and woman told others what was right and wrong, and what the societal mores and stigmas were, and it ended with nine billion dead and a planet lost.

Live free, die free, and don't get involved in other people's problems. It's a simple rule, and it's the only doctrine he follows.

Name: Madeline Volkov of House Tsarya Place of Birth: Asola City, Luna Age: 50 Allegiance: Protectorate 2nd Legion

Appearance: Red-haired, blue-eyed, and physically fit and tanned from decades of combat service, Madeline's scars only enhance the no-nonsense image she labors to project to others in and out of uniform. Her left eye is ever-so-slightly bluer than the other, an irritatingly useful implant she received after getting the old one shot out.

Personality: Stern and determined, Madeline is a soldier of the Protectorate, one who knows she's elbows deep in blood by now and not afraid to add more for the sake of the Coalition and it's people. A touch too pragmatic to go full Purifer despite her quietly ironclad beliefs, she'll never forget the billions who died to out of control tech and is convinced that the next technophage will come from some transhumanist too adrift to see their own madness.

History: Madeline Volkov's 21st birthday present was a front row seat watching the technophage destroy Earth from the bombed ruins of her hometown.

Only child of two midranking Tsarya employees, she was raised with strong religious beliefs and a commitment to service that the destruction of Earth only cemented in her mind. In those early, chaotic days of the Coalition, she volunteered for the Legions, as one of the infantry driving the remnants of the old order to the fringe. The Protectorate's increasing emphasis on Apothesis as a means to enhance and extend the service of it's soldiers has increasingly pitted her convictions against her sense of duty, a rankling irritant that has only made her less tolerant of those who try and buck the system.

She's seen a little bit of everywhere in her 29 years of service. She's based out of Sentinel Station for now, but takes regular leave to visit her parents back in Asola City, her sanctuary away from duty and the death she knows is waiting for her out there in Coalition service.

Name- Ryan Church
Afilliation- House Kimura
Gender- Male
Height- 2m (6'6)
Mass- 125kg (275lb)
Appearance-  Ryan's Sleeve shares a humanoid shape,  but unlike many others, There's no mistaking its artificial nature.   Even without his gear, he cuts an imposing, if almost alien figure.

Personality-   Most of the time Ryan is all business, no nonsense, the quintessential straight man.   It was that quality among others that kept him in business for so long before the incident.   Very few in his new House have seen him simply let go and enjoy himself, though he does view doing so as necessary with his choice to take a Cybersleeve.   He is a private man, and at least at the moment, lives for his job.

Background- Mr. Church is a newer member of House Kimura, but he has gained some rep for the quality of his work, and his work ethic.  Very few know the truth of what happened to him, and how he came to "transfer" to House Kimura, which is just how he likes it.   His past is dead, and he seeks only to move forward.

Character Name: Anna Maverick
State: Sleeved
Allegiance: Apostate

Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 132lbs
Hair: Short. Red.
Eyes: Hazel
Skin: Fair.

Appearance: Anna's current sleeve is of average build and size, with off-the-shelf decent looks but nothing like the sculpted perfection of more expensive models. It is patterned off of her original body, though has been customized considerably since she first sleeved. She wears her bright red hair short now instead of long, and uses more dark, ominous shades in her wardrobe than she used to.

Background
It's not a big secret that Anna used to be a member of House Kimura, but junked her Rep and went underground after some kind of falling out. The details of course are known only to the House mucky-mucks, but to say they're not thrilled with her would be an understatement. They're not sending hit squads or anything, but she's persona non grata with them at the moment. She was born on Mars, in Olympus, but her parents are terraforming engineers working in Charon.

After her split with Kimura, Anna hooked up with a fringe cluster of apostates in Minos and helped them clear out before a House raid on their safehouse came down. From there she's moved around a lot, wherever apostates congregate. Her inside knowledge of the Houses can be valuable, though it's getting a bit dated now. Anna's had some close shaves trying to help her fellow apostates out, and she could be a lot richer than she is if she always charged the worth of her services. In particular there was an incident where a team she was on tried to steal a resurrection chamber for an apostate enclave's use. Didn't go so well, and the job set her back enough she had to clear out and uproot again. Hard to say where she'll turn up next.

Character Name: Yolanda "Yoyo" Singh Mannerheim
State: Sleeved
Allegiance: Apostate

Gender: Female
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 155 lbs
Hair: Brown, with a slight metallic sheen
Eyes: Aquamarine, faintly glowing
Skin: Tanned, with a slight metallic sheen

Appearance: Yoyo is tall and stunningly beautiful. Her curves are sensual and slightly athletic, though they are often only hinted at by her choice of somewhat loose fitting, slightly flowy attire which permits rare, teasing glimpses of of her tanned flesh here and there, with her skin possessing a metallic hue at times, indicating her full Synthesis. Her hair is long and brown, with the same hint of metallic as her skin, and is usually kept back i(often braided) n a tight bun, or pony tail. Her eyes are a captivating aquamarine blue that seem to glow with a dim inner light. She generally has a calm, pleasant demeanor, but sometimes moves in a somewhat unnatural way, or hold her head a slightly odd angle.

Background
Yoyo is a bit unusual. She considers herself a Transhumanist Monk, spreading transhumanist ideals not by preaching, but by example, often sharing her own story of being small and sickly  and then through transhumanism (Apotheosis, Resleeving and Synthesis in her case) being reborn into a new body, rising above her former self and situation. She encourages other to direct their own evolution, and offers her assistance to those who have questions or see a guide through the process.

By all accounts she is kind, helpful and serene and easily moves between the various strata of society easily, speaking with reputable citizens and criminal apostates alike, without judgement. She seems to accept people for who they are now, but has faith that they can grow beyond it, should they so chose, and feels that they all should have a chance to do so. Unlike many proponents of transhumanim, Yo-yo does not espouse her beliefs to be superior, merely one of many possible beliefs and paths that each must choose for themselves. She respects others and their beliefs, even Purists, as long as they do not try to force their beliefs on others, as such, she is an outspoken opponent of the HPA, but still acknowledges it as the law of the land, for now at least, for she is patient and enduring, and seemingly has eternity for things to change.
