Sailor OOC
What is the more preferrible way to go with a game? ,, RAW (Rules as Written) or RAI (Rules as Intended). ,, I was just curious as to how to resolve this age-old dilemma of all GMs.
Krul
my general response - rules as intended, and first rule of the GM - Everyone should be having fun
Dave ST
I use BISO. Simply it's a form of RAI that ends with 'because I said so'. For example. "I have evasion, how come I couldn't use it to evade the fireball?" "Because I said so."
Sailor OOC
Krul: I generally roll with that. ,, Dave: I like that. I hate that for some people that just isn't enough, also when common sense is applied as a response, they throw it back at you to make you look like an idiot. ,, Sorry... bit of a rant. I just find enacting rule 0 sometimes just doesn't work when I envoke it. I dunno why. Is it the way I smell? *sniffs armpits*

Sailor OOC
Is that more of not letting yourself get caught with your pants down, or never having to explain yourself?
