Born in 3022 to a Comstar Precentor, and one of the North American Senators, Jason Aldridge was a man destined for life in the Order. He studied at Sandhurst Military academy, lauded as the best in all the Inner Sphere, and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

He bounced around abit after that, ending up on Tamar when the Wolves sacked that world. His unit would be removed at the declaration of Tukayidd, and reorganized, becoming the Reconstituted 278th Division. He was promoted, a Demi- Precentor now, well on his way up the ranks. In theory, the most elite division in the Com Guards was his unit, and that was scant comfort after what followed.

He was there from beginning to end of that twenty five day battle, and watched comrade after comrade perish before the clan Juggernaut. Still through valiant and stalwart defense, the clans were defeated and forced to halt.

In the aftermath of seeing thirty percent fatalities, and thirty percent wounded beyond that, many com guards left looking for more than a hopeless battle. He and his men wanted revenge for their comrades, and were determined to make the clans pay.

Jason left with the Division Commander's blessing, and his sole surviving company. Traveling to Outreach, They were quickly snapped up by the Draconis combine, performing admirably in garrison contracts for three years. It was their fourth year that saw them engage in heavy combat taking real losses, leaving over a lance of open slots in the unit, and a lance of heavily damaged, non-battleworthy mechs to repair. After a round of recuperation, where one of the two clan battlemechs they'd captured was sold to pay mounting maintenence and storage costs, They recruited back to a full company, and were snapped up for Garrison duty on Wolcott. It was a high risk, high pay contract, guaranteed to bring them into battle with the clans

It did, three times since arriving on Wolcott, twice against the Smoke Jaguars, where another mechwarrior was slain, his Marauder recovered, but the PPC hit had left little more of him than ash.

This last battle was the same one against Clan Nova Cat where Mechwarrior Olivia Rosse, formerly a star captain and ristar in the clan, was defeated in a duel by Captain Aldridge. He honored her prowess to her surprise, taking her as bondswoman, against the objections of many in the unit. She has proven her loyalty, honor, and skill and recently released into the command, serving as Aldridge's bodyguard.

Battlemech- Battlemaster 3M "Avenger"

A custom Battlemaster, Jason's Mech incorporates clan tech weaponry, salvaged from five years of fighting the clans.

Olivia- Stalker An upraded Stalker with ER large lasers, and mounting additional LRM racks in place of SRM's, Olivia's Stalker is a massive fire support platform. She yearns to pilot her Warhawk again, but the extensive damage from her duel with Captain Aldridge has yet to be repaired, due to lack of parts.

Personal Information:

Identity: Julia SilverFox WhiteElk

Handle: Warpath

Nicknames: Jules

Occupation: Mech Warrior

Marital Status: War Widow

Known Relatives: none living

Allegiance(s): Aldridge’s Avengers

Physical Traits:

Weight: 142 lbs

Height: 5’8”

Apparent age: mid 20's

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Black

Handedness: Left

Appearance: Jules has an unusual look for most residents of the Lyran Commonwealth. She has copper skin and black hair, with sharp features and dark eyes. She’s pretty in an exotic way, though many would recognize her as a member of one of the nomadic peoples. It’s not unheard of for her people to settle down and stay in one place. She usually wears casual clothing and doesn’t bother to hide the burn scars the mark her left shoulder and disappear under her clothes. Her most common attire is rugged jeans, hiking boots and layered shirts, as if she plans to go hiking suddenly.

Skills and Personality

Abilities/Special Skills: Jules came to Aldridge as a novice warrior with little more knowledge than stories she’d heard from boasting mech warriors. Despite this lack, she’s worked hard and gained a reputation as a good pilot. She is also someone you’d want to be stranded in the wilds with; she’s known for her ability to survive in most uncivilized terrains. She’s also a fair shot with the rifle she brought with her.

Personality: Jules is an outwardly calm woman but anyone who’s seen her fight the Clan know that calm is a lie. She bottles up all her emotions to unleash them on the Clan, and some people have almost felt sorry for the Clan she’s gone against. Some people find her a touch too direct and feel she’s a bit bitchy, but she doesn’t really care. Jules doesn’t care about much, aside from killing Clan.

Background

Jules grew up with nomadic people, who traveled the stars in ships, stopping and trading everywhere and anywhere they felt like stopping. It was the life she’d known and she enjoyed it. When her group’s ships had troubles, they stopped in the Lyran Commonwealth for refitting. While there, Jules met a young Comguard mech warrior on leave. The two fell in love almost immediately.

Jules gave up her nomadic ways and Dan retired from the Comguard as soon as his contract was up. They married and settled into life in the Draconis Combine. They had a child, a son they named Benjamin. Dan tutored would-be mech warriors who needed some help, and Jules tended to their home. It was ideal for them.

Then the Smoke Jaguars attacked their world. A battle in their neighborhood left their house aflame. Dan died trying to get Ben out of his room, and the boy perished with him. Jules saw them disappear as the burning ceiling fell on both of them. She was knocked down as well, and it was only the intervention of her neighbors that saved her life. They dragged her out of the burning wreckage and got her off-planet.

Jules has never lost the scars from that night. Though her shoulder and back have healed, her heart and soul haven’t. Dan’s father died shortly after hearing the news; one of Dan’s brother’s gave Jules the only memento he had of his brother: his rifle from his youth. When she held the weapon, he joked that he’d give her Dan’s mech, too, only he’d left that with his commander when he left ComGuard.

A plan was born. Jules hunted Jason Aldridge down and begged him to let her pilot her husband’s mech. Aldridge wasn’t keen on the idea but he knew this was the woman Dan had loved. Jules was given a limited amount of time to prove herself – and she did. She picked up gunnery and piloting rapidly, studying every manual she could get her hands on. A drive for vengeance made piloting that mech her dream, and Jules pursued her dream with gusto. She proved herself, and now belongs to Aldridge’s Avengers.

Height: 5’9”

Apparent age: mid 20's

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Brown

Skills and Personality

The upbringing in nomadic mercantile matters has given Mel some expertise in business matters, and he has a broad range of knowledge specializing on the Periphery.

Surprisingly, even in battle, even against the Clans, this attitude holds - but observers can notice his laugh is more... menacing.

Background

Mel Grimson was born into a merchant family that took a long-term route throughout the Periphery, so he was equally familiar with most of it, despite being Oberon born. He proved vehicle talented, plus cosmopolitan and good-humored and was going to likely become a pilot for the family business. Then the Clans attacked.

The Grimson flotilla was one of the early targets in the Periphery, assaulted by a WarShip and boarded, Mel lost his family and friends in the fighting, his last memory of them being his older sister Madia ordering him to escape with the last of the ratings. The scrappy band floated out with the last shuttle in the confusion.

Mel ended up joining a conglomerate mercenary unit, and with short-handed amounts of pilots, first became a BattleMech pilot in control of their last spare machines. One of the rare heavy hitters when absolutely necessary, he demonstrated impressive ability, and when the Clans pulled back - he knew where to seek employment and his roving lifestyle.

Eventually Mel learned about Aldridge's Avengers, and applied during their re-recruiting phase, demonstrating his fitness to be part of the unit and has belonged to the Avengers for years since.

Personal Information:

Identity: Lt. Nathaniel Thorne

Handle: Justice

Nicknames: Nathan or Nate

Occupation: Lance Commander

Marital Status: none

Known Relatives: none living

Allegiance(s): Aldridge’s Avengers

Physical Traits:

Weight: 175 lbs

Height: 5’10”

Apparent age: 30's

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Eye Color: Green

Hair Color: Dark Brown

Handedness: Right

Appearance: Nathan has an unusual appearance for someone born in the Draconis Combine. His Davion-Heritage is clearly visible by his caucasian traits making him stand out from the general populace of House Kurita who are mostly asian. Ever since joining the Avengers he has let his hair grow longer which only seem to add to his attractiveness. Nathan is definitely someone gaining second looks from most females who have a weakness for the quiet and silent type. His most remarkable features are his green eyes which seem to pierce some kind of veil and are always set to the horizon – as if he’s looking for something that reaches beyond.

Skills and Personality: Nathan joined the Avengers roughly 3 months ago and instantly showed his value both as veteran Mech Warrior but also with considerable experience as commanding Officer. He has extensive Knowledge about the DCMS Organisation, Military Tactics and even Clan Lore. As a former DCMS Tai-i he commanded a Battalion of Mechs for House Kurita. How he ended up with the Merc Unit is something he rarely speaks of, if at all.

Nathan is a quiet very level-headed Lance Commander. He always maintains focus but isn’t as stuck up to ignore the occasional joke or prank. He is also not reluctant to share his knowledge with his peers and subordinates and takes his time if someone requires more time to follow his logic.

Even though he is not part of the DCMS anymore he can’t ignore years of training and indoctrination and hence his general behaviour is very strongly ‘flavoured’ by his upbringing.

Background

Nathan’s parents originally were citizens of House Davion until their homeworld was taken by the DCMS and soon incorporated into House Kurita territory. Nathan was born during that tumultous time of uncertainty when there was still hope that House Davion would recapture their lost planet.

As he grew older it became clear that House Davion had given up their efforts to conquer back a difficult to defend planet at the Draconis Border and thus relented their claims.

Unwilling to despair and not quiet able to relate to his parents stories Nathan quickly adopted the DCs way of live and fully embraced it, enlisting with the DCMS as soon as he was old enough. His talent soon brought him up in the ranks of Mech Warrior forces of House Kurita and he fought many battles in his favourite Marauder MAD-5D variant created by House Kurita.

During the Clan invasion he managed to establish himself as a seasoned and reliable Commander and his ability to adapt to unforseen situations earned him a name even among the ranks of the invading Clans Smoke Jaguar and Nova Cats. Unfortunately during a raid on Wolcott in 3055 his luck abandoned him. False intell and a chain of decisions based on false assumptions ended in him being dishonorably discharged from his service as Mech Warrior and commanding Officer. Even though this smelled like a setup Nathan had no way to proof that he was led into a trap and his pride and sense of honor demanded from him to accept this fate since he should’ve seen the trap before running straight into it.

His record and Theodore’s Kurita change on the rules of Bushido saved his life though, and he was left in the service, stripped of rank but used as Liaison’s Officer. Nathan accepted this fate waiting for an opportune moment to wash his name clean.

It seemed his fate had a different goal in mind when he got entangled yet again in a raid which ended him being taken as bondsman by Clan Nova Cat. Not being a stranger to the Clan they put him in their service which he reluctantly accepted but he refused to share any strategical or military knowledge he had about the DCMS. He was willing to fight and die for this honor and it has been dangling like a Damocles sword above him ever since.

When Jason Aldridge challenged the Clanners and won his trial he also managed to free Nathan from his bondsmanship – Nathan has ever since been a loyal member of Aldridge’s Avengers and a valuable asset.

Identity: Geoff Wealks

Handle: Rogue

Nicknames: Blue-eyes,

Occupation: Mechwarrior/Soldier/Pilot

Marital Status: Single

Known Relatives: none known living

Allegiance(s): Aldridge’s Avengers

Physical Traits:

Weight: 178 lbs

Height: 5’11”

Apparent age: 30's

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Eye Color: Cornflower Blue

Hair Color: Dirty Blonde, but bleaches to blonde in the outdoors.

Handedness: Left

Appearance:

Blonde haired and blue eyed, Geoff's entire being is almost always in motion, always animated. Virtually the only time he doesn't seem to be a bundle of energy is when he is focused on something delicate.

Skills and Personality:

Although still young, and relatively inexperienced, Geoff has some skill in the following: piloting vehicles, making people smile, and finding trouble. He has the potential to become a good soldier and an outstanding MechWarrior--if he can learn when to keep himself focused on those goals.

Background

Born to a retainer of Duke Kelswa's on Tamar, Geoff lead a life that wasn't all that harsh. He managed Although not particularly dumb, he was never inclined to pursue accademics, and was frequently found getting into all manner of trouble, especially once he got into his teens. The trouble was rarely the kind to get anyone hurt, except for the odd practical joke that went a little too far, but between his devilish charm and excess of exuberance, he there were a number of fathers who pre-emptively (and sometimes uselessly) warned him off their daughters when he got to his teens. Part of this may have been due to the fact that Geoff's father--also a mechwarrior--died before Geoff was even born, in a training accident.

In an effort to provide discipline in his life, Duke Selvin had him enrolled in the Tamar War Colllege. He progressed in his studies, and showed steady improvement, until the Clan forces attacked. He was still on Tamar when Wolf Clan destroyed the Duke's Atlas, killing the Duke in the process. Ultimately, he made it out of that battle, although he has only flashes of memories and the odd nightmare to remind him of how he did so.

His luck lead him to find a place in a guerilla movement against the Wolf Clan in the Tamar pact worlds, which heald out for a few years before being destroyed by the superior Clan forces. Through stealth, cunning, and shear guile, hijack one of the Clan mechs during a Lyran Guard counter strike. He was wounded in this effort and evacuated with the remnants of the attacking force.

The Lyran Guards, recognizing that he wasn't the kind who would fit well with the military discipline expected of their forces, but reluctant to waste this boy's potential, pointed him to Jason Aldridge, where he has been part of the company for the last year and a half, learning to respect and in turn earn the respect of his brothers-(and sisters-)in-arms, who are much more capable than the guerrilla forces he had fought with.

Somehow, he has managed to keep Lucy, the Clan Loki (prime) he had hijacked, in one piece.

Name:
Personal Information:
Identity: Natalia Soares
Handle: Fúria [Portuguese for Wrath or Fury]
Nicknames: Jules
Occupation: Mech Warrior
Marital Status: Single
Known Relatives: Parents, 4 Siblings [3 older brothers, 1 younger sister]
Allegiance(s): Aldridge’s Avengers

Born in the Lyran Commonwealth, on the planet of Recife, Natalia's father had earned a knighthood in the various wars between succession stats, and married her mother, a minor noble. This was enough to get her into Mechwarrior training as she grew up, she also was a fairly physical child, something of a tomboy, somewhat to her mothers dismay and her father's pleasure, and her father got her training under a martial artist teacher while she was fairly young to channel that energy.

As she got older, and better at combat, she enlisted in with Lyran military forces, and eventually ended up with the 12th Lyran Regulars, which was where she was serving when the clan invasion began. She lost her mech to an ammo explosion in that battle and was one of the few survivors who actually managed to escape and return to Lyran space, 90% of her unit was destroyed and dead, and this also began her dislike for any sort of mech that carried ammo. When she got back to the Lyran space, she got training and focused her expertise on piloting a variant of Awesome assault mech, in fact it sort of became her expertise. Unfortunately for her plans, while she was good in it, and got a few commendations, she didn't get another chance to face off against the clan before the clan invasion was brought to a halt.

After waiting for more then two years for another chance, she was on a waiting list for a new unit but it was going to take another few years and she had enough, setting out on her own and ending up on Outreach, where she offered classes in self-defense to pay the bills, and eventually met Aldridge in a bar, sense he needed a Assault mech jock and she just happened to name the mech he was looking for as a speciality, he offered her a job, provisional on her proving her words. Her skill was enough to get her a position on the Avengers command lance, and she looked forward to another chance to face the clans and avenge her lost comrades.
