He was irritated with all these bad people around him but the flying machine gun man and the fire girl were the ones directly attacking him and his teammate so they deserved to get hurt! In a maneuver that was starting to annoy all of them, he spun to the side, just like a jet fighter would. As Fenris hunched and managed the pain, Ronnie’s attack likewise went past the agile Chinese fighter. Seeing the odds stacked against him, Jet started to flee, only to have Grav sneak in one more attack against him before he could leave. It hurt but the fighter worked past it and was gone with a low boom. Initiative Dog – 24 Fenris – 21 Ronnie – 20 Jet – 19 Jade Fire – 13 Grav – 7 Combat Jordan’s attack missed. Grav’s attack hit. If he let Grav just go through, he'd get in trouble with the Major for letting her escape and if he went through too, they would think he was trying to escape! Which we wasn't. He was happy; right? Maybe if he followed Grav and brought her back he wouldn't get in to trouble? Maybe they would be happy that he brought her back and not punish him for being bad by going through the big black hole in the sky?
