I am going to be sending out a newsletter in the next week or so to mention recent updates, such as the merge with EON and the release of Aberrant: The New Flesh. If you are currently running a game on this site and would like to recruit more players please post a paragraph here explaining your game and I'll include it in the newsletter.

Aberrant: Infinite Earth
Infinite Earth was created as a game/storytelling setting where anything can be possible and to supply those wishing it a place to explore stories that would be difficult or impossible in the traditional games (whether because of subject matter or power levels).
The premise is that there are an infinite number of alternate universes. For every decision ever made a new universe is spun off. In Infinite Earth the parallel universes are connected by a gateway which few know about, but which novas or other powered beings (psions/inspired) can pass through to move between the possible universes.
In game terms this means that you can write a story on your own particular version of Earth without negatively effecting the story another player is telling on their Earth, but the two character can still meet and interact if they choose.
IE offers a place for you to tell the stories you've always wanted to tell, but for which you've never had a venue. I offer my services as ST where needed, but in many ways the game is much like the Open Worlds where the player directs their own story.
One other benefit of the IE setting is that it is open for those who might be interested in running a game themselves. Anyone interested can feel free to shoot me a PM.

I haven't sent out a newsletter in many, many years. I think the site was still N!prime in the eZine format at the time. So there isn't a regularly scheduled newsletter. The previous versions listed the articles with intros that were on the site back then. At some point I integrated everything into the forums and the newsletters never made the transition.
I haven't sent out the newsletter mentioned above yet. I am still planning on sending it out, but just haven't had the time to set everything up yet.
The newsletter will probably be a one time thing at this point. I just want to notify all the people that haven't visited the site(s) in a while about all of the changes that have taken place recently.

I sent out the newsletter this morning. I didn't send it to accounts that have logged in within the past month because you already know what is going on around here. Initially we had 35% that went to non active emails. I'm expecting that number to climb to 40-45% by the time it is all done. Hopefully some of the people from EON will receive the email and check things out.
