We are having a fiction writing contest in honor of the upcoming release of Aberrant: The New Flesh.  The New Flesh is the third in a series of sourcebooks that take a close look at the potential and ramifications of the Mega-Attributes in the Nova Age. Having been preceded by Brainwaves and Forceful Personalities, The New Flesh focuses on the Physical Mega-Attributes.

The rules for the contest are:
  • Create a new Nova character that is either a Mega-Strong Titan, a Mega-Dexterous Swift, or a Mega-Vigorous Dynamo, and write a story that details how their life is affected and defined by their mega-ability.  The details are up to the individual writer.  It can be a simple event or an overview of their life.  It can be world changing or something personal.  The only real restriction is that the character must show how their mega-stats define their life.
  • No preexisting characters, either from Aberrant or this site, may be used.
  • The fiction must be at least 1000 words.  There is no maximum.
  • Fiction submissions must be to the Aberrant: The New Flesh Fiction Contest forum.
  • Entries can be a single post or multiple.
  • Entries are limited to 1 writer.
  • Entries must be posted by October 23.
  • The winner will be selected by a mixed vote containing both forum members, as well as a select group of people determined by the administration of this website.

The Prizes
  • A PDF will be created using the official Aberrant format for the winning fiction.
  • The winner will have an image placed below their profile or avatar that highlights their winning of this content.
  • The winner will receive a $10 Amazon gift certificate.
