Lucas Haim: The governor of Mars until the elections, Lucas has been the driving force behind the Minerva Foundation for 45 years. In surprisingly good shape for his years, the most noticeable thing about Lucas is the friendly air about him.. and the absolute refusal to bend if he believes he's right. Everyone on the Mars

Appearance: Looking about forty, a distinguished sandy haired white man, hazel eyes, always seeming unruffled and immaculately dressed.

Niran Keacham: One of the trustees in charge of the government(departments of human relations and medicine), Niran was born in Thailand, and came to the States 30 years ago as a child. He's been Lucas's right hand man for the past ten years, and is the go to person for most of the medical and social staff, including the few police in place.

Appearance:A Thai man, in his mid thirties. He tends to be serious, though a wry sense of humor. Those who know of such things also notice the callous on his hands and the way he moves that declare his mastery of Muay Thai.

Chea Huizhong: A young woman, no one that has crossed her path would deny her own skill at dealing with people. On Mars as a plant biologist, and skilled in that, her own devotion to China shows why they insisted on her place here. Currently unattached, she tends to be friendly to everyone, but is also pushing to have the colony declare for China.

Apperance: A beautiful North Chinese woman in her early twenties, 5'8. She tends to be polite, with a wicked sense of humor and equally skilled in both English and Chinese. She isn't as forceful about China as some, but she does try and be open to talk with everyone, just making friends at this point in time.
